My Cat just got ran over by a van today! I saw while the van hit it so i went to see it and was only walking on its 2 legs and the tail's hair fell out into the streets Is it going to be alright after i take it to the vet because it looks like is very hurt. Do you think it will be able to walk again? im going to take it to the vet but my parents dont have any money because they just payed for the rent. How much would it cost to cure him in the vet?
Answers:
Honey cost can't even come into this. The cat has to go to the vet. Maybe your vet will work out a payment plan with them? I do hope so.
If not your parents must take it to a no kill shelter to get it help. You will have to surrender it and never get it back, but if there is no other option that's what they must do.
It may well die without seeing a vet.
they sometimes have free vets. u could try maybe a shelter or ASPCA. i hope your cat well be fine
Get your cat to the vet immediately. Often compassion will be their first response. If it was hit and run, try getting some publicity as viewers will often open their hearts and pocketbooks.
The rest of the answers are simply unknown at this time. the longer you wait, the less chance your cat has.
I would say the kitty will probably have to be put down, your not gonna find a vet that will make your cat walk again and do alot of complicated procedures on your pet for free...its really sad, I wish u luck....please do whatever your gonna do with the kitty b4 she suffers to much
I am sorry to tell you this but it would probably be cheaper to get it put down then to cure it and if you cant afford it then take it to the animal shelter that is all I can tell you. I feel really bad for you. I am so sorry.
Perhaps the vet could offer you a payment plan (pay a bit of the bill off every month).
I would definately get her to a vet, the poor thing must be suffering horribly! As others mentioned, money is unimportant as long as your kitty is alive and healthy!
go to the vet..if the animals cant use their legs they usually put them them down.
