A cat lady!?

I seen an ad in the paper today saying.
Any one need a cat, I have plenty come take mine and save my marriage!
How many of you know cat ladies around your neighborhood?
Answers:
thats a funny ad! cat lady- thats my goal.
I know of dog ladies.
Haha, it was probably a bit of a joke, she may not have that many cats, but apparently, she has more than her husband agrees with.
I know a local cat lady, but not in the sense that she has too many cats. She fosters for a local rescue, and she does feral cat spay/neuter projects.
Among the people I know, I'm the cat lady. I have three but that's my limit.
Cats protection volunteers are often 'cat ladies'. I have three of my own, and one foster-kit, a cross-eyed tortie...
No joke, my friend ended up in the Daily Star because of her 17 cats. AND then they read it out on the Big Breakfast! Then when I got to work and mentioned I was going to pick up my adopted cat, my colleagues took the mickey and said "Be careful, you'll end up like that woman in the paper!" They were gobsmacked when I told them that the woman in the paper was my mate, hahaha
Yes. There is a lady here who has a cat farm. She's got a tall mesh fence that covers her 20 acres. She has kitty aviaries, that are stock full of everything a kitty could ever want. People can come adopt them, but it is really more like a retirement home for kitties. She is a retired vet, so she spays and neuters them herself. The town donates litter, food, etc. She's got hundreds of cats.
My mothers work collage has about 13 cats shes marrid and everything but just has a soft spot for abandoned animals! I'll become a mad cat lady no doubt oneday its not all bad :)
I am the local cat lady. you can't possibly be a cat lady if you're married though, we're generally single and socially inept
There's a lady near us who has sort of an unofficial cat shelter going, I have donated unwanted food to her before. We unfortunately have a population of feral cats around here and she has carriers without doors on them for the cats to sleep in, litter boxes and food for them, all outdoors at the back of her house. She has her own pet cats which stay indoors. She doesn't let the feral cats indoors and as far as I know she doesn't take them for shots or anything. She's an older lady on a limited budget but she does what she can.
I can see myself doing this later in my life, but not as long as my husband is around. I'm lucky to have the two cats I already own, he's not a cat lover but he loves me so he tolerates it:)
I've been called a cat lady before :) I only have 4 though.
My aunt is an animal rights activist and she rescues animal, takes them to the vet to get fixed up and cares for them. Right now she has 5 kittens she has nursed back to health and is stuck with 3 of them. She is having a hard time finding homes for them. She already had 5 before she brought in the kittens. She takes great care of all of them too.
I would have said in the ad, "Any one need a husband? I have one, come take mine and save my cats!"
Men can be replaced but cats are forever!
My neighbors have a feral cat colony living in their backyard (that sometimes migrates to the front, and then across the street to my yard)... there's like 30 of them.
I've been trapping them and getting them spayed/neutered then re-releasing them...
everyone says I'M the cat lady--I have 2 of my own, but in the past month have had 10 fosters in and out! now a momma and 5 babies (from the feral colony!)
ahhhh!!! LOL
theres loads ere!
d only fing is i reakon im gna b 1 of them wen im old n av gon crazy!
Im trying to become a mad old cat lady like on the simpsons, but at the moment i only have 2 cats and i am only 25, so i have a bit of work to do!
My boyf is fed up of the kitty cats, but i warned him never to make me choose between them as he wont like the answer (especially as i have had him for 5 years, and the cats for 1 year...)
