Ask at your local vets for animal rescue centres.
go to petfinder.com and find one at your nearest animal shelter...that's how I've come to have my two beautiful kitties
Um, if there was a website with people advertising kittens, I'd be scared.
Go to petfinder.org if you're looking for one.
Oh yes, try www.petfinder.org
There are several kittens there that need good homes! You can search within your area within a certain mile radius and specify the animal and age. There is typically a small adoption fee, but often it will cover the spay/neuter and some vaccinations. Good luck! :)
Look in your local paper in the classifieds. There will usually be a listing for free kittens or kittens up for adoption. Also, try your local shelters and non-profit no-kill shelters first. There are tons of kittens right now in my area, I'm sure there are in yours too.
look in your local petsmart, they have ads up
get one from the charity near you. kittens dont belong in the post.
I would try craigslist.com
you can list things you want to sell in your local area. or you can post free ads usually in your local paper and most of the time they have a website.
aw don't buy one over the net when you can save one from a rescue centre x
Hi there! If you have Pet Smarts in your area, I highly recommend going there on a Saturday...usually every Saturday they will have some kind of adoption thing going on. I got my cat there when she was only 8 weeks old.she is now 2. I got her from a rescue society (they found her and her brothers and sisters in a dumpster!) and the proceeds went to Hurricane Katrina relief so I thought it was meant to be...and I was looking for a dog lol. I'm still glad I got her, she is such a joy in my life! Enjoy your new kitten!

Try them.
There will be a large choice a your rescue centre. Do not go near pets marts. If you were to be able to buy a cat from a web site it would not be a good idea as you would not be able to assess the personality of the animal. So definitely rescue centre way to go . Anyway you should not find it hard to find a kitty that you like, so I hope you have many happy years together.
Try your local cat protection league- they have so many kittens that need a home. Go on to the website which will tell you where your nearest one is. miaow xxx
yeah buy one off the internet and have it shipped in a small little box from china
Go to your local Cats Protection adoption centre or branch -- they'll have lots of cats and kittens for you to choose from (They're in the phone book) And you will have a guaranteed Gold Standard cat! Cats Proection also have a wbsite where you can find your local branches and even see kittens!
try a search for cat rescues
Hi there!
Go to http://www.catchat.org/adoption... and you will find a COMPLETE list of shelters in your area (not just RSPCA and Blue Cross!) Be aware that any links to pictures of kittens could be out of date - so don't be put off if they don't seem to have what you are looking for online; just give them a call and arrange a viewing.
It is kitten season until November so many shelters are inundated with kittens at the moment - I doubt very much that you'll have any problem getting one (or two!). Have a look at this page too for more information: http://www.catchat.org/kittens.html...
If for some reason you cannot find a kitten from the shelters, type 'kittens for sale' into Google - there are loads of websites that come up, including:
http://www.pets4homes.co.uk
http://www.preloved.co.uk
http://www.kittenlist.co.uk
http://www.friday-ad.co.uk
Of course, you can also try your local ad papers. Please genuinely try shelters first though; you should have no problem finding a kitten at this time of year.

I would try www.craigslist.org or www.freecycle.org. Also don't forget to check your local shelters.
Ask your vet if he knows of any good places for kittens - breeders and shelters and such. A website is not the best place to get a kitten as you don't know anything about the mother and father and if they're been looked after or not.
Hope this helps.
Please DONT BUY a kitten. it just encourages those to laze to have them spayed to use them to obtain cash.
Their are to many out their who prof fit from breeding litter after litter. Then replace the breeding female with one of her daughters.and start all over again,
Try your local vets, mine looks after strays and kittens so I'm sure other vets will do the same.
the adtrader and freeads websites are quite good
good luck
xXx
If there are..it willbe illegal.
go 2 a humane society cuz they dieeeeeeeeeee everyday
Look for the Website of the Friday Ad free newspaper. Lots of kitten adverts. Also try the Cats Protection cat rescue charity. I got my latest kitten off my local Freecycle site!
ummm go to the humane society...and what are u talking about...ofcourse u will find one!! those animals(expecially the adults) need rescuers like u!!
