Am i an awful person if i give a pet away?

this new cat is giving me chest pains. shes so bad and all the methods of discipline and behavior modification arent working. ive had lots of pets, still do, cause i keep them all! its never crossed my mind to give a pet back after rescue or give it to a person who wants one i know, but my gosh i dont know what to do. shes been here a month and the worst ive ever dealt with. all my other pets were calm and took to discipline and house rules easily and no problem. but this cat is making me crazy!! i dont know what to do!

let her go.you cant save them all. It is not fair to you and your other pets, if she is stressing you out. My mother inlaw had to give back a border collie she got from a rescue, because he was peeing all over the place and ruining her house.
If the cat is wild, she cannot be tamed, so she will not make a good pet. I rescued some kittens from a wild momma cat and I gave one to my sister and the kitty was never really tame...he ended up running off.
Please dont be so hard on yourself if this cat is not meant to be with you...you already have rescued other animals you clearly enjoy.
You are not awful. The most important thing is to take care of your current family. If you properly give her away or find a family you good. Maybe she was met to be in a family where she would be the only cat so she could have the owner to herself
try spending one on one to tame her a little if that dosent work it is ok to find her a new home sometimes animals personalitys are different than the masters it is normal
That cat is semi-feral, it only needs to be socalized. Scold it and try flicking it lightly on the nose whenever it attack the other cats. When she is is a calm mood stroke her once or twice then leave her alone unless she rubs aginst you wanting to be pet some more. My cat is 7 years old and he hates being touched, and he attacks the other cat. But he's very friendly when he wants to be, and he won't attack people like he did when he was a kitten. She just needs a little time.
She might be better off with a smaller family, maybe as a single pet or with one or two other cats only. Somewhere she can get more attention and training. It's not that you're doing something wrong, but perhaps you're just spread too thin already to deal with a problem child on top of everything else.
You're not horrible for considering giving her up, as long as you give her to a rescue shelter or another responsible pet owner.
Good Luck :)
Your health and the health and safty comes first. Get rid of the cat.
Sounds like this cat has some issues which is understandable. She was on the streets so she had it tough: hunting down any food she could get her paws on, probably had to compete with other street cats and got into fights. Also the fact that she has been isolated in a cage in a garage for that length of time. So of course she is a bit wild. She has had a tough time. Poor thing! She needs to be the only cat in the household so she will need a new home with someone who has the time and patience to give her.
No, you are not an awful person to give it away. Sounds like you are doing some good work with the other pets.
