They talk a good game, and it sounds like they have good intentions. But. It's still a dry food which isn't great as a diet staple. I don't feed any, but I wouldn't suggest feeding it as any more than 50% of a cat's total diet.
Deboned chicken, chicken meal (NOT GOOD), turkey meal(NOT GOOD), russet potato (NOT GOOD), lake whitefish (NOT REALLY GOOD), chicken fat, sweet potato (NOT REALLY GOOD), whole eggs (NOT REALLY GOOD),de-boned turkey, salmon meal (NOT REALLY GOOD), salmon and anchovy oils, salmon, natural chicken flavour, sunflower oil, sun-cured alfalfa, dried brown kelp, carrots, spinach, peas, tomatoes, apples, psyllium, dulse, glucosamine Hcl, cranberries, black currants, rosemary extract, chondroitin sulfate, sea salt.
The latter items all sound good and may even be good - but are just not all necessary.
If they offered a canned food as well you could go half and half.
I personally would consider choosing another brand such as Evo, Raw Instincts or Core - three grainless varieties. They too have undesirable ingredients because they're dry, but for dry food they're pretty good!
I don't use it I use California Natural for our cat ^__^
I originally started with the Acana Lite Cat Formula cat food by Champion Pet Foods (which is also a good food). When Orijen came out, I decided to try it. My cat loves it. She's an indoor cat and this food gives her good energy, her coat is really soft and shiny and she doesn't gain excess weight on it. I highly recommend it.
