Anybody know how to get rid of stray cats from the backyard?

Well you could: get a dog, build a fence, keep scaring it away, or get some anti-cat spray if there is such a thing!

They make sprays that you can use on grass that leaves an odar and should keep them away. Also, make sure your not leaving foor or water out, or you could always get a dog.

I used moth balls if you can handle the smell. The spray the pet shops sell is very unpleasant!

Electric fence? Dog? Otherwise you're probably stuck with them. I've heard that using mothballs will keep them out of your flower beds and definitely fresh mulch helps with that. Make sure to board up any little places where they might decide to have a litter of kittens! Also, the local animal shelter will probably loan you a cage and you can catch them and take them to the animal shelter.

Do not listen to these totally inhumane people who say to poison them. That could get you arrested and fined. Not to mention, make them suffer. You could just call animal control. They will come get them. Unless you are in a really remote place, most cities will get them from a little way outside the city limits. Or find a farmer needing mousers.

You could always call the pet control people. They come by here all the time and get stray dogs and cats. It isn't that bad of a thing since they take them to the pound and they give them some time to see if someone wants to adopt them..
You should stop feeding them, don't leave any water out.
Do not put antifreeze in tuna, if someone saw you doing that you could go to jail for animal cruelty, Plus it is just plain wrong. If you do that, you will pay a huge azz fine and spend atleast 45 days in jail in most states.
Call the animal control.
