How can you tell wether a cat is male or female? I thought i had a female stray hanging around my yard but today i saw the back end and it has two holes now im sure its a girl...am i right?
Answers:
The male if not neutered will have testicles. The female will not. A neutered male will have a small sack where his testicles were. If nothing is visible back there, she's a female.
check how they youse the restroom
dude, a male cat's got balls...
and a female doesn't...
Well, a male will have a scrotum with two testicles, if it is really a stray then it won't be neutered. Even if it is neutered, there will be a residual scrotum that is pretty obvious.
Also, a second hole, if you have investigated and are sure it is a hole and not anything else, then it's a female.
Males and females have two holes.Close to the anus a girl furter down a boy.If it's an unaltered male you will also see testicles.Tow lumps on both sides of the bottom hole.
Some thing's are just too funny to even be able to answer!
im pretty sure its a girl, but if you want to be sure you would have to check it up close. btw, if its a stray i wouldnt pet it b/c it might have fleas or ticks.
In female cats, the anus and vagina are very close together. Males will have parts further apart. Even if the male is neutered, there are still reminants of his "sack." That may help you in determining the sex. Depending on how old it is, it may be difficult to tell.
Even if a male is neutered the remnant of the scrotum will still be present; the preputial opening is much smaller than a vulva and visibly separated from the anus. On a female, the vulva is noticeably slit-like and right next to the anus.
Of course, if the cat is very fluffy or not cooperative even this can be hard to determine. If in doubt, have a vet check the cat; it probably needs vaccinations and a FeLV test anyway.
if its a female no penis if its a male then penis will be there doesn't matter if spayed or neutered. one has it the other does not.
