i have 2 kittens and they're whiskers keep breaking off! what does that mean?!

Are you sure they aren't biting eachothers whiskers? It could happen every now and then, but if whiskers are constantly breaking off and you can't find an external cause, something physical could be going on too- it's not normal if it happens all the time.
Brittle whiskers can be a sign of ringworm-a fungal infection f.i..
Maybe a vet check is in order, just in case.
I don't know but my cats do the same thing they just fall out and we find them. We have had our cats for six years and theirs does the same thing.
Maybe you should call the vet and ask someone there. they should be able to give you the best answer and advise. i know that cats need their whiskers for balance so it is pretty important that the problem is fixed.
