My cat has black/dark colored discharges from her vagina. :-/ She's about to have her kittens any week now. Are the kittens dead? What's wrong?

It would be best to call a vet. It's possible she just 'broke her water' early and the fluid might be uterine fluid with old blood in it; it's possible, but not certain, that the kittens would not be harmed by this. If she doesn't have her kittens within about 24 hours they'll be at risk of infection.
It's also possible she has an injury or infection; in which case the kittens are in danger or already dead. There's no way to tell from here; the only reliable guideline is that if it smells bad, you've got a sick kitty who needs help NOW.
Maybe you should call the vet.
