Basic stuff for kittens?

I have a few question about cat products... What is weaning? What is a clicker? What is cat insurance? What is a dog license that can be used for cats?
Answers:
1. "Weaning" is when a kitten, or litter is not drinking as much milk from the mother and supplementing it's feedings from you. Eventually completely coming off feedings from the mother and eating on their own.
2. A "Clicker" is a training tool and is just that "a device that "clicks" and give a signal to the animal.
3. Cat insurance is the same as people insurance. It pays when you take your cat to the vet and have to pay a fee. The insurance repays you for that fee.
4. Dog licenses are not for cats. In some municipalities, cats must be licensed too. However, dogs are licensed separately. You should get a metal or plastic ID tag made for your cat to wear all the time to identify him/her. My cat is microchipped or "lo-jacked". He's been stolen 3 times from my house and I've gotten him back each time. It pays to keep identification on your animal.
Weaning is when the kitten is in the process of being independant from mom's milk. Clicker is a training tool. Cat insurance... house insurance... ring a bell? And cat's shouldn't wear dog licenses... I think cats have smaller licenses which can probably be found at a local pet store.
Little mouses with bells in them
