Cats are great companions. Go to your local shelter and look at each one. See which one comes up and plays with you and which one ignores you. Keep in mind that Kittens will play with just about anyone. Check out the cats that are a year or older. You can tell the type of personality they will have by that age. Some cats want to hide in another room whenever you're home. My cat, however, follows me around and "talks" to me the whole time I'm home. I adopted her about a month ago and she's 8 years old. She's the greatest cat ever. I woke up this morning to find her sleeping with her paws "hugging" my arm and her head resting on my hand.
No , cats make great pets, go ahead , get one.
They are to birds. Get a Dog
I can always smell a house that has cats. If that is not objectionable to you, then go right ahead.
well my opinion they are much easer to take care of then dogs!but at young ages they are hard cause they are hypper!but when they are older they are lost of fun!!but they do smell your house up but if u do there box 2 times a week its ok!i have 3 cats and i love them so much!
Actually no. They are very independent compared to dogs. They are fairly clean and easy to cat box train. Short haired ones require little grooming but long haired one can shed a lot and may need to be groomed quite often. They also require little entertainment besides random things like a box, a string, etc. They can also be very snugly when they want to be. Go for it!
today mine are. it's like having kids who never learn to speak. some days they're fabulous, loving and entertaining, others you just wanna kill 'em. don't get one unless you plan to take serious responsibility for their care and health. (it costs a bit a first, too- first vet visit covers EVERYTHING)
It Depends On How You Treat It,Like If You Treat It Badly Then It Will Be Very Mean,But If Your Nice To It It Will Be A Loveable Cat.
all animals are they need you 2 help look after them but they will love you bk g l
if you want a playful, interactive pet, a cat is not the way to go. but, for a quiet, only-sometimes-wired pet that you can pet and don't have to take on walks all the time, get a cat. fyi, that's only some cats. cats can be different. if possible, take the cat out before you buy it to see what it's personality is like. if you don't want a moody, territorial cat, don't get a male. but again, that's only some male cats.
I HATE CATS>.
No there not but it would be best to read up on them first.
Cats require shots, regular vet visits, spay or neutering.
They require more than just putting down food and water.
Are you ready to make a commitment on being a responsible pet owner?.
Thanks for asking.
It depends on how the cats personality is. If it is shy and mean then it will be trouble. But if it is nice and bright then it will be the best cat ever.
Hope i helped lots,

Cats are curious by nature, and can be very playful. But their are no bad pets only bad owners. Training is very important, use a squirt gun to teach them not to jump on area you want them to stay off of.
they are trouble and its funny when they play and jump on things any play its very cute but if you get a cat try not to get a kitten to young like 5 months my kittens are 5 months and ive had them since they were 3 weeks and i sometimes wish i never got them but i love them so yea the point is that they are trouble and my dad yells at me all the time and them as well actually ten minutes ago he claimed one tried to scrap off his face they were behind the couch and jusmped on the bach and slapped him in the face it was funny hope i helped
If you want a nicer, docile cat, I would pick an older one (over the age of 2 years old). Most kittens/young cats, although super cute, can be very hyper. My 10 month old is at the stage where he runs around for no good reason, knocks things off of shelves and attacks his older sister. This is completely normal for his age, and I don't mind it but some people can't take that type of behaviour. If you feel that you can't deal with that, just get an older one. My other cat, who I found when she was 2.5 years old, has been wonderfully calm and gentle. She does like to play with string and stuff but she doesn't knock things down or run around, jumping crazily onto things. I would suggest going to the humane society (or another rescue) where they have a selection of many cats. See if you can't hold some older cats. You'll be able to tell which one is the right one for you - their personalities will shine through. (I'd go for the 'lap cat' who likes to cuddle and might even purr a little (although most won't purr simply because they are in the an area with so many other animals). Another option is to find older cats in the newspaper or on Kijiji.com (or kijiji.ca.). I have often seen ads for older cats on there, often due to a new baby who has allergies. That way too, you'll be able to see the cat in it's element, where it feels comfortable - and it's personality will be true there.
Hope that helps!
Hi honey. No cats are no trouble at all. They are terrific pets and quite friendly. They love being held (especially if you get them as a kitty and raise them to be held)...petted and going to sleep right on your bed. What better company is there?
They are affectionate and extremely loyal. They make a wonderful addition to any home.
Hope you find the kitten of your dreams. Blessings, Patti
When you have kittens they are a little bit of trouble. Once they get older they aren't much trouble.
