Yes they are. Cats are independent animals so they can take care of themselves, they use a litter box and you just have to clean the box and feed them and they are happy.

Cats can be amazing pets if thats the kind of animal you want.. Cats aren't really energetic unless it's a kitten... If you want a pet thats not hard to take care of and that is basically lazy your set.

sum1 said having a cat is being lazy, but cats are animals that most of the tym latch to one member of the houshold that it really lyks so others might see he/she as mean lazy or watever, cat are independent,so wat if they got a little box better then holding poop in public, older cats are entergitic at least mine is. but cats a e wonderful and fun loving anime no need to worry about a cat cumming to anybody who can make a kissy sound

HECK YA!! i grew up w/ them. i know they are independent animals that u only hafta clean the "kitty crapper" as i called it. personally, i think they are better than dogs, but only 4 the fact that they dont smell, dont drool, u dont hafta take them 4 walks or clean up after they messed in the grass(or wherever). they bathe themselves so u dont hafta worry about fiting w/ them. sum ppl cut their claws 1ts in a while(we did), but not all ppl do that. that can b a little bit of a pain but its really not hard @ all.%26 its totally worth it not getting scratched ne more afterwards.:D 1 of my cats luved running across the floor after his claws were cut cuz he could skid across . seemed 2b having fun, lol. hm, what else could i say about them? theres so much...
btw, obviously ns.v is allergic 2 cats cuz only ppl w/ allergies would say sumthin like that.i never had any prob. w/ my cats @ all.

Cats are a great pet for someone who is fairly busy and would not have the time and energy to walk, play, bathe, clean, entertain, (etc.) a dog. Cats are a great "low maintenance" pet. Contrary to popular belief, cats CAN be trained and do learn to be loyal and love their owners if they are treated properly. Cats are nice because they are small, not as messy/destructive, which makes some people more apt to allow you to have a pet, if you are renting their house.
I have owned cats most of my life and have always felt "empty" at the times where I was not able to own one. My cats are like children to me! I do not live in places that are unsafe for them (i.e. on busy roads) and do not associate with/date people who do not like cats. Cats have excellent instincts about the character/true nature of a person, and I put a lot of creedence into how my cats respond to a person who is new to my house.
