i want to get ride of a cat that i hate but i dont want to dump it in the woods because it is declawed and also it is terrified to go outside!?

You are absolutely not right for dumping it in the woods. Take it to a good shelter (no-kill, preferably). If there's not one nearby, put an add in the paper, or put up flyers.
Please take it to a NON-KILL animal shelter! It will find a happy home! *Poor Kitty* =[

Unfortunately it is not easy to get rid of cats, because so many of them need homes! Probably the best thing to do is to ask around at work, church, school, etc if anyone is interested in your cat. I think it is good that you don't just want to dump it in the woods, but it's a shame you two don't get along. If it is giving you a specific problem, such as scratching furniture, etc maybe it can be resolved. If the cat is young, maybe people will be more interested in it.
You have two options. First you should try to find a home for the cat on your own. Ask your friends, coworkers, church members, etc, if they are wanting a cat or if they know anyone that would like a cat. I suggest doing this first because it costs money to take an animal to a shelter. It can also keep you from adopting an animal from a shelter as well. If you can't find someone to take the cat then you need to find a no-kill shelter that has an opening. Please do not take the cat to the Humane Society. I respect what they try to accomplish, but I hate the fact that so many animals get put down. Hope this helps!
PLEASE take it to your local Humane Society, they will find it a good loving home that is so deserves. I hope you DON'T put an ad out for a free kitty, you have NO idea what kind of people/person they are. At the HS they can legally check out the people that want to adopt it. And I cannot for the life of me fathom anyone hating a precious cat... I have 3 and I LOVE them as if they were my own children and I treat them as if they were! Take care of that sweet cat ok.

Thats awful of you! Try and find a new home. Put it in the paper, take it to a nonkill shelter, and put up posters and ask your friends if they want it!
