A couple of months ago my cat gave birth to kittens. They grew normally and behaved normally. This I know because I have had kittens in the past. However, within in the past 4 days 5 out of 6 kittens have suddenly from one day to the next lost their appetite, gotten weak, and died. I am very worried and obviously saddened. I had every intention of finding them homes. But the issue of their sudden deaths bothers me. Now the mother is starting to get weak . I noticed that all of the kittens had some brown gunk in their ears and one had a discharge come out her butt while she was sick, but what is so bothersome is that "it" whatever "it" is just seems to attack and kill the kitttens. What could it be? An infection perhaps, ear mites, or something else. I didn't think ear mites attacked like that so quickly and to kittens. Thanks.

Sounds alot like feline distemper. Get them to a vet right away.
probably an internal infection. did mom receive treatment for the pregnancy? you probably would of been best to get her fixed... that's why spay and neutering is so good for your pets. you dont have to put them through this much pain!
GO TO THE VET! WHY ARE YOU ASKING HERE?! IF YOU'RE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THIS, YOU SHOULDN'T BE TAKING CARE OF ANY LIFE FORM.
i wish i could be of more help but take them to a vet, find out if they could have the thing dog puppies can get during the summer, im really sorry bout your kittens
Have to agree about if you dont know to take them to the vet you shouldnt have them
they probably died because they havent been properly vacinated etc.
Poor poooor kitties.
